User Settings

User settings allow you to personalize Dialcore Bot for your own use. Unlike server settings, these apply only to you and give you full access to all modules by default.

Accessing User Settings

Use the /settings user command in any channel where Dialcore has access. This command is available to all users.

  • Command: /settings user
  • Permissions Required: None (available to everyone)

Available Options

Language Selection

Choose your preferred language for Dialcore’s responses and commands.

  • Options: English, Spanish (more languages coming soon).

Timezone Selection

Set your timezone to ensure notifications and timers align with your local time.

  • Options: Various timezones (e.g., UTC, EST, PST).

Disable Notifications

Control whether you receive notifications from Dialcore, especially for the Learning module’s review reminders.

  • Learning Module Notifications: Toggle to stop receiving DMs about review sessions.
  • Note: Other modules may add notification options in the future.

Tips

Section titled “Tips”
  • Changes apply only to you and your interactions with the bot.
  • You have full access to all modules by default – no restrictions like in server settings.
