Pomodoro Module

The Pomodoro Module helps you implement the famous Pomodoro Technique for better focus and productivity. Set a timer, concentrate on a task, and get notified when it’s time to take a break.

This module is simple and effective: start a timer, focus on your task, and receive a direct message (DM) when the session ends. You can also stop the timer at any time if needed.

Start a Session

Use /pomodoro start to begin a timed focus period. Specify the duration (e.g., 25 minutes) and start concentrating.

Focus Time

While active, dedicate yourself fully to your task. Avoid distractions to maximize productivity.

End Notification

When the timer expires, you’ll receive a DM notifying you that your Pomodoro session has ended.

Stop Anytime

If you need to interrupt, use /pomodoro stop to end the session early.

  1. Start the Timer: Run /pomodoro start <duration> (e.g., /pomodoro start 25m).
  2. Focus: Work on your task without interruptions.
  3. Notification: Get a DM when time’s up.
  4. Stop if Needed: Use /pomodoro stop to cancel anytime.
  • /pomodoro start <duration>: Start a Pomodoro session (e.g., 25m, 30m).
  • /pomodoro stop: Stop the current session.
  • /pomodoro status: Check the remaining time (if active).
  • Use standard Pomodoro durations like 25 minutes for work, followed by a 5-minute break.
  • Combine with the Todo Tasks module to track what you’re focusing on.
  • Notifications are sent via DM to keep channels clean.
